Covid Booster and more. . .

Dear Terraces families and friends,
We’ll be holding a clinic for the latest Covid booster and the RSV vaccine on February 29, starting at 10:00am. While Covid is less deadly than it used to be, cases are on the rise nationally and symptoms can be pretty uncomfortable. RSV is a very serious infection that affects the lungs and respiratory tract and medical professionals strongly recommend getting the vaccine. If you’re interested in this clinic for one or both shots, please call or visit the front desk to get your loved one on the list. 

FOR SAFE HAVEN FAMILIES: PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK THE FRONT DESK FOR YOUR LOVED ONES’ MAIL. WE WILL HOLD IT UNTIL YOU ARE ABLE TO PICK IT UP. 

ANOTHER IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR ALL FAMILIES; WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE OFF THE PROPERTY FOR APPOINTMENTS, LUNCH, A DRIVE, OR ANYTHING ELSE, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SIGN THEM OUT AT THE FRONT DESK. FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND OUR PEACE OF MIND, WE MUST KNOW WHERE RESIDENTS ARE AT ALL TIMES. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION WITH THIS VERY EASY, BUT IMPORTANT PROTOCOL.

For Black History Month, we have several great films, events and activities meant to celebrate and honor the legacy and history of the Black experience in America. If you’re interested in the programming we have planned and would like to attend any of it, you can pick up an activity calendar in the lobby or by asking the front desk. 

Finally, we have an evening Valentine’s Day Concert featuring Jeremiah James at 5:30 on February 14. All are welcome to attend this free event. Just be sure to sign up with the front desk.
